Hi everyone. I am back with another layout featuring the Bee Mine collection. For those of you who do not know me, I LOVE patterned paper. Often at times, I have a difficult time throwing my scraps away for this reason. For this layout, I decided to play with all of the patterns in the Bee Mine collection.
Valentine’s Day is coming and Creative Memories has the cutest collection to document those lovey dovey or not so lovey dovey moments! Have you seen the Bee Mine collection? Oh, my goodness, it is the cutest collection ever and I am so excited I got to play with it. I really like the tiny print patterns on a few of the papers so I selected a few of those sheets for my layout. And the stickers and layered embellishments are gorgeous! A girl can never have too many embellishments. Those frames were calling my name the moment I saw them! I couldn’t wait to use them. Can you hear the excitement in my words? Seriously, I love it.
Scrapbook papers and embellishments have personalities, and Bee Mine is energizing! If you’ve been feeling a little rundown after the hustle and bustle of the holidays, get your hands on the Bee Mine collection and you’ll feel ready to create an entire album. When Melissa designed this fun Arrow Border Layout, I had to give it a try. I loved the way that she used three different colours of cardstock behind each arrow in the border design.
A little bit retro, and a whole lot of bright, colourful fun. That’s how I’d describe the new Bee Mine collection. Pair it with the new Daisy Bouquet Punch and the Arrow Border Maker Cartridge and you’ve got a party!
I had so much fun playing with the bright colours and patterns on this super cold and gray Minnesota winter day. It’s great therapy for the winter blues. Give it a try! You’ll be smiling in no time.

I have made origami hearts before scrapbooking but I knew I had to try to incorporate them in a layout. My love of different is apparent in my layouts.
The Digital Mi Amor kit isn’t just for Valentines! It can be used for many different themed photos throughout the year, love, wedding, couples, travel, prom and VALENTINES!
Weddings are wonderful place for LOVE/AMOUR! Mi Amor with all of its sweet embellishments works so beautifully with wedding photos. I changed my photos to black and white so they would blend nicely with the rich reds in this collection. I changed the title from black to white and matted each of the photos in white to coordinate and then added a shadow to all elements to make them pop!
I love blending my background photo into the paper background and then add a few of the sweet heart embellishments in this collection. As for the white hearts I changed the opacity so that the hearts looked like vellum.
Travel photos work well with Mi Amor. To make my journaling more visible and stand out on the background paper I added a white rectangle and changed the opacity. From Paris to Vegas or Paris in Vegas…
And of course Mi Amor is perfect for LOVE day photos! One of my favourite embellishments is the sweet envelope and the wonderful advantage to digital is you can make this envelope as large or as small as you like. I added embellishments and cut them along the bottom to make them look like they are popping out of the envelope. I then added a heavy shadow.
